As a mom myself, I know how time just flies by you.. Between snack time, school pick-ups, and bedtime snuggles, the thought of adding one more thing to your schedule, like a photo session, can feel overwhelming. That’s why I offer both full and mini sessions, so you can choose what works best for your family.
But how will you figure out which one is best for you? Let me walk you through it like I would a friend over coffee (that we might actually get to drink hot).
What is a Mini Session?
A mini session is short, sweet, and simple, usually about 15–20 minutes. It’s perfect for families who just want a few updated photos without the time commitment of a full session. It can be for holiday cards, milestone moments, or a quick refresh for your gallery wall.
Because of the limited time, mini sessions are usually held on set dates and at a specific location I’ve carefully chosen. I plan these with light, backdrop, and family flow in mind so everything runs smoothly. They’re fast-paced but fun, and yes, you’ll still walk away with beautiful images full of connection.
Mini sessions are great if:
- You want just a few key photos.
- You have young kiddos with shorter attention spans.
- You’re looking for a lower investment.
- You love a specific seasonal setup or theme.

What is a Full Session?
A full session is your story, told slowly, with space to breathe, play, and connect. These sessions usually last about 45–60 minutes, giving us plenty of time to document genuine moments and deeper connection.
We’re not rushed. If your toddler needs a snack break or your little one needs a moment to warm up, it’s okay. This is about you and your people laughing, cuddling, chasing, and loving each other.
You’ll also have the freedom to choose your location, time of day, and wardrobe style. I’ll help guide you through it all, including outfits, prep, even hair and makeup if you’d like. This is where the magic happens when we let the moments unfold naturally.
Full sessions are ideal if:
- You want a more relaxed and personalized experience.
- You’re planning wall art or an heirloom album.
- You want a wider variety of images and poses.
- You have a special location or vision in mind.

So… Which One is Right for You?
If you’re just looking for a few updated photos or testing the waters of a professional session, a mini session can be a great fit. It’s quick, affordable, and still full of heart.
But if you want more storytelling, a wider gallery, and space to just be with your family, a full session is 100% worth it. I truly believe that slowing down and investing in those memories is something you’ll never regret.
Whichever you choose, my goal is always the same: to make sure you feel seen, supported, and celebrated. You deserve more than just pretty pictures. You deserve an experience that makes you feel at ease and leaves you with photos you’ll treasure forever.
